I. General Accountant

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Employment status: Full-time.
  • Location: Vung Tau City, BR-VT, Vietnam.
  • Reports directly to: BOM of The IMPERIAL INTERNATIONAL Hotel College.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Check, calculate costs and make periodical accounting reports in accurate and timely manner
  • Being responsible for compiling and analyzing financial information in order to prepare financial reports.
  • Prepare tax returns, make profit-and-loss statements.
  • Creating, reviewing and maintaining budgets, investigating accounting discrepancies and communicates best accounting practices and tax law to the School.
  • Performance Indicators: Ratio of errors in transactions per week, Customer satisfaction index, Ratio of reports completed appropriately
  • Supervise all regular accounting processes such as Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable and Journal Entries plus monthly closure accounts.
  • Organize all company financial programs and ensure compliance to budgetary requirements.
  • Analyze and forecast financial requirements for organization.
  • Supervise and ensure efficient working of all financial transactions in organization.
  • Monitor and implement all accounts payable check activation and wire transactions.
  • Assist departments in account reconciliation process on monthly basis.
  • Monitor authorized account reconciliation process.
  • Administer all bank transactions and oversee data recording procedures monthly.
  • Provide support to auxiliary schedules for auditing purposes as per assigned work.
  • Analyze different general ledger accounts regularly.
  • Develop budgetary plans for processes as per requirement.
  • Prepare journal entries and synthesize common ledger for subsidiary accounts.
  • Collate bank statements on monthly basis.
  • Design and prepare audit schedules for external audit processors.
  • Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
  • Provide support to safe keeping of internal expenses in organization.
  • Monitor account reconciliation, tax and calculations inclusive of cost accounting plus factory data recording processes.
  • Manage and maintain finance related programs and documents inclusive of future plans and programs.
  • Develop and formulate all report and deliver presentation projects for repeated usage.
  • Evaluate current methods and processes inclusive of upgradation of process development
  • Record reporting vouchers and related documents.
  • Others if required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SUBJECT TO APPROPRIATE VERIFICATION

  • Bachelor degree in accounting/ auditing major;
  • At least 3 years in accounting field

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Basic knowledge of accounting regulations, international settlement, credit and trading.

II. Program Consultant

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Employment status: Full-time
  • Location: Vung Tau, Vietnam
  • Reports directly to: Director of Student Recruitment

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Program Consultant, you are required to contact potential clients and recruit students for the School’s programs/courses. In addition, you will involve in the administrative assignments associated with student enrollment.

KPIs: New enrollments, re-enrollment, total revenues, internal and external student satisfaction.

  1. Student Recruitment
  • Strong desire to achieve set targets and goals;
  • Achieve conversion rate (visitors – placement tests- sales) daily on average;
  • Follow up bookings/leads daily;
  • Achieve set targets and goals weekly and set plan for upcoming week(s).
  • Check re-enrollment status weekly
  • Take action promptly
  • Handle customers’ feedback/complaints
  • Handle customers’ financial requests
  • Process special offers or discounts as directed;
  • Propose sales events, activities for School;
  • Complete reports: weekly, monthly or as required
  • Implement daily / monthly reports
  1. Administration supports
  • Provide needed administrative support for Dean and other staff, in addition to Educators
  • Organize and maintain hard copy and digital student recruitment files
  • Answer inquiries efficiently and effectively to properly represent IIHC to both internal and external customers
  • May include daily or overnight travel to other locations in Vietnam
  • Other reasonable tasks as assigned to assist in IIHC’s operation

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SUBJECT TO APPROPRIATE VERIFICATION

  • College/University degree preferred
  • Language: Good spoken and written English
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to receive and give complex messages with accuracy and maintain good working relationships; attention to details required;
  • Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines, to operate in confidential manner with discretion, enthusiasm and optimism.
